The Chicago Botanic Garden is a 385-acre living museum featuring beautifully designed gardens, peaceful lakes, nature trails and indoor greenhouses.

Transit

  • Metra’s Union Pacific North Line to Braeside. From the station, follow the North Branch Trail approximately 0.8 mile to the Garden. The walking route is ADA accessible.
  • Metra to Glencoe and transfer to the Pace Number 213 bus toward Northbrook Court.
  • Pace Bus, Number 213 also connects the Garden with Highland Park and the Davis Street station in Evanston.

Parking

A large visitor parking area is available at the Garden.

  • Cook County residents: $10
  • Non-Cook County residents: $12

Accessible parking: Spaces are available in Lots 1 and 2 near the Visitor Center.

Purchasing parking online in advance is recommended.

♿ Accessibility

Wheelchair- and stroller-friendly entrances and paved pathways extend throughout the park. The Play Garden has a soft, poured-in-place surface and accessible play elements.
